2004-08-28 12:28 PM Where Have My Stories Gone? I'm not sure why, but I haven't written any new fiction in days and days now, only poems. (Although I have revised several stories.) Heck, I even wrote a 775 word dark fantasy poem. What was I thinking? Finding a market for that monster set of verses is going to be just a tad difficult.
I guess my Muse just wants poetry for now. On the writing group front, I decided to withdraw from Critters. It took too much of my time, and I really didn't get enough out of it to justify that time. My regular writing group and my poetry group are great, but I've neglected the shared world group work for too long. I think I'll make my shared world story fragment my number one fiction priority. Right after that will come my collaborative story. Only then will I work on my handful of stories that need to be expanded or finished. No news on the Lone Star Stories end, other than the fact that I still need two stories for the October-November issue. That's about it for news.
