A poem of mine was accepted today by Writer's Stories, but I declined their offer to publish my piece after learning that they no longer pay for submissions. So, my poem is back out looking for a (paying) home.

In other news, the current issue of Lone Star Stories is attracting quite a few readers; word appears to be getting out. I'm very pleased.

On the writing front, I wrote a bit on one of my longer stories-in-progress today, which is the first fiction writing I've managed in some time. I'll see if I can keep it going without digressing into poetry . . . .
