October Novel dare: accomplished 30k on the Uncertainty Principles novel (plus full outline). Yay! I surpassed my original goal of at least 500 words a day. As the month progressed I readjusted the goal to 30k straight text (outline doesn't count).

Not one to rest on my laurels, I signed on to NaNoWriMo which calls for 50k for November--and no already-started works. So shifting gears, slightly. I'm still in sci-fi mode, but I think I'll leave out the aliens this time.
