Listening:"Army of Me," Bjork

What I don't like about the Cam is NOT that people have a tendancy to cheat or that it becomes something that takes over people's lives.

It's that people assume from the get go that they can't trust each other.

It pisses me off the most when this distrust is applied to the storytelling staff. There are some wonky STs out there who protect their friends and work to advance their own interests, but for the most part we got into this mess to tell a story.

If the interconnectedness bugs you so much that you fear turning over your background/character sheet/prestige logs to the hierarchy because someone you might end up competing with IC might happen to read it, fucking run your own goddamned game.

None of us get paid nearly enough to deal with the childish bullshit some people generate in tried to avoid all of the strictures other people are subject to. I don't give one flying fuck if you want to make it so that STs 1, 2, 3 look over your character but avoid STs 4 and 5 because of whatever paranoid delusion you're harboring. Guess what, you get to play within the system, just like everyone else.

Plenty of us have had our PCs whacked from bad ST calls and we've still managed to deal with it like fucking adults. Grow the hell up.

/rant off

ffff Warning to my Cammie friends: I'm wallowing in something dark and icky so if you come in to say something you might find yourself stuck....
