"Estrella Oscura," Lila Downs "All I could Do was Cry," Etta James "Schism," Tool This list thing is a bit silly. Of course I can pick 10 things about me that aren't true about you. My exact astrological lineup, for example, or that I've tasted my mom's spaghetti and you haven't. There's some things that are cool in my life but I kind of fell into them or did them like enough other that they're not unique (going to Korea for example - cool, but the occasion was really all chance for me). Also my accomplishments are kinda weak, I feel. So I'm aiming low. *shrug* Here they are anyway. 01. Walked the Way of the Dead in Teotihuacan. 02. Had Courtney Love mess up my hair and call me pretty. 03. Been suspended from the Camarilla twice. 04. Been in the presence of and recieved a blessing through the relics of the Shakyamuni Buddha and saw several other Buddhas' relics at a stop of the Heart Shrine Relic Tour, part of the Maitreya project. 05. Shook Tony Kushner's hand as he encouraged me to become a director, cause theatre needs more good ones. 06. Attended the Gathering of Nations. 07. Played a gig with the USC Marching Band inside the great hall of Edinburgh Castle. 08. Driven from LA to San Francisco and back in less that 24 hours alone. Twice. 09. Walked with two friends from USC to Venice Beach and then Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. (roughly 15 miles through some sketchy parts of town) We started at 3am and napped on the beach at around 9. 10. Planted yerba buena (Oregon tea) with my great aunt on the occasion of my sister's birth. Tea from this herb can heal nearly all minor ills and once cleared up a cold I had like that. *snaps fingers* So there. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
