2005-07-17 7:42 AM The Half Blood Prince...First blush... Reading time...from 10 am to 1:30am, with a 3.5 hour break to finish today's sermon.
Hand it JK Rowling... This time around, our gaggle of heroes curse, shoot the finger, go to the bathroom, laugh, cry, make stupid mistakes, take heroic chances, fall in something approaching love, and in a spectacularly action packed final 100 pages, in the case of one major character, well....die...and another major charcter surprises us rather dramatically. Your reaction to those two events will likely define your experience with the book. A great read that does suffer from having to deal with so many characters that have been introduced over the last 5 volumes who are being set up for Book 7. I wonder what the heck she's going to do to end all this? Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
