2008-03-20 10:35 AM Shame on You, ABC News So...the release from the National Archives of Senator Clinton's schedules while she was First Lady was to be a major step in vetting her claims about her involvement in key issues in her husband's presidency.
Some news outlets have jumped on a pro-NAFTA appearance as inconsistent with her current position. But is that what ABC NEWS chose to highlight? Of course not. Along with a number of other news outlets, their first story on the release of the materials...was to note that Mrs. Clinton was in the White House on the day of the "Blue Dress Incident." As Towleroad and others have already asked...Is there any purpose in this story other than to humiliate Senator Clinton? BAD Journalism, BAD Editorial Choice, BAD Idea. Charlie Gibson, Barbara Walters, somebody...how about an apology? You're better than that, and ABC News used to be. Peter Jennings is spinning in his grave.
