Toys, Alien Skin. 9-5-04
Dear Lisa,

We have all read, reviewed, and discussed your submission, Toys, and we have decided to pass on the story.

Although the story is paced well and nicely written, we felt the 'toy" concept and Princess Wisp were too ill-defined, or perhaps too esoteric, for our tastes. It left us scratching our heads with a sense of confusion.

We do thank you for considering AlienSkin Magazine for publication, and for allowing us the opportunity to review your work. Hopefully, in the future, we will be able to feature one of your stories.

Sincerely,
Katherine A. Patterson

1-16-04Thanks for submitting "To Be" to Chizine.
Unfortunately I'm passing on this one. It seemed a
simple fairy tale, the stories that attract me are
stories that plunge into the murkier aspects of human
emotion and expression, the unfathomable stuff, the
emotions we don't have names for.

Best,

Submitted to be to ideomancer 1/17

Dear Ms. Moore,

Thank you for submitting "To Be" to Ideomancer.com. However, we won't
be accepting this one.

While the story is well written, I'm afraid I have seen this
particular plot-line far too many times. I wish you luck with it
elsewhere.

Regards,

Dorian.

Will send it out to strange horizons after I get the stuff done for the workshop tomorrow.

Dear Lisa Mia Moore,

Thank you for submitting "To Be" to Strange Horizons, but we've decided not to accept it for publication. There's some effective imagery at the end, but overall this didn't really work for me.

We appreciate your interest in our magazine.
