Thanks to some of our people having to go visit another dig here, we put the backhoe work off a day, so that my trench team had a whole additional day to finish at Reynistadir. So we just have one complicated trench there to profile now, and we will move to another farm on Friday, after we backfill the trenches we already have open.

Nothing exciting to report today, really. We really thought it would rain in the morning, because it was overcast, cold and moist out, but afternoon brought the sun and moderating wind, so right now the day's on par with the best we've had.

We seem to be well into the daily routine now, with moving various people around to the different sites, from different places, with different cars. The logistics could be better, and we probably have a few too many people, but we seem to be getting a lot done. According to John, we are now a day behind schedule, but we might be able to do the next farm pretty quickly because the trenches there will not be as deep and should be easier to interpret.

Time for the pool and hot tub. Got to get the dirt out of the ears.
