Truth is, this year people seem to have got hold of a lot of industrial strength fireworks and the bonfires are enormous. I've never seen a fireworks' night like this, and I think it's going too far. The pollution is awful and poor Nika is scared out of her skin by it all. Down the road, two labradors are forced to sleep outside and they are terrified. Bah. Whatever happened to moderation.
