Novel Progress
I've finished Chapter 4. The last three pages or so haven't been typed in yet, but I'm guessing I'm not at about 35 pages or a bit over 6,500 words. Maybe as many as 7,000 words.

At lunchtime, I'll plot the next chapter.

Goals for Tomorrow
Tomorrow is Saturday. That means we won't be going to the cafe at an inhuman hour. That may also mean a little less progress than normal. My goal will be 3 pages of Chapter 5.

We're going out to dinner with friends tonight. We haven't been out like this since before Christmas. We can't really afford it, but we're going to anyway. Sometimes you just have to. :)
Of course, we'll probably be falling asleep at the table.

Writing at the cafe has been fun and pretty productive for both of us. But the music has been driving us insane. The cafe seemed to have one CD only, which was played every day we were there. It seemed to consist of 50's music, i.e., lots of sleazy sounding men singing about how cute 16-year-olds were. The sexual revolution really needed to put those guys (or their songwriters) up against a wall.

Today, everything changed. Part way through... they changed the CD. What a shock! Unfortunately, the new CD seems even worse.
