2005-04-06 10:08 AM What happened? Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (0) It rained this morning. What's with that? It's supposed to be warm and summery. Okay, so it's early April, but I want summer.
The UK general election campaign began yesterday. The election will be on 5 May, less than a month away now. I'll be voting for the Green Party. As I've already decided, I will be trying to avoid all of the campaign. This will require me to wear a blindfold and ear plugs at all times. If you see me, please don't push me over. I loved the election cartoon in today's Guardian. I'm not always a fan of Steve Bell's cartoons, but this one hit the nail nicely. As someone has pointed out, the election is taking place on Ascension Day. More evidence of Tony Blair's messiah complex? I've started to read the current issue of Lone Star Stories which I'm reviewing for Tangent Online. You'll have to wait for the review to see what I think in detail, but the one story I've read so far, The Heirs of Cenpa by Sandra McDonald was wonderful. I recommend you read it. This journal entry seems to be mainly links. I guess that defines the internet: lots of links to places that have other links to places that have other links. Content, now... if you want that, go to a library. Or to one of the links above. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
