We've just been to Borders (again...) and I picked up a really great book. It's a YA book called The Drowning Pond, by Catherine Forde. Very good writing, a gripping opening, intelligent, fast-paced. I don't think it's out in America yet, but if you're into YA, try and grab a copy.
