Please Advise

So I'm not writing much today.

Let me just say this:

*14-day Flu (It needs a name, I know) How about the Feetch?
*Crashed hardrive (I hate Dell)
*Six stitches on pinky (I hate bricks)
*3,500 word story (It's still not done, and it's awful)

*I'm going to dinner at Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian Steakhouse off LaSalle downtown Chicago tonight. Can't wait.
*5-day trip to Minneapolis
*PITCHERS AND CATCHERS ON SUNDAY!

I think we're back to even, and it's only looking up from here. (Note: I refuse to mention my pending student loans, but they'd be trumped by my upcoming marriage anyway.)

How in the hell does a guy ever get ahead?
