So, last weekend was the wedding that we've been looking forward too for it seems like forever, I don't think I have ever had so much beer at a reception, before the reception even started I had been bought two ginormous beers, and that was around 5, and I hadn't eaten since 9 in the morning, so I was pretty happy by dinnertime, which started with smoked Kangaroo loin, quite possibly the yummiest think I've ever had. All the food was good, the wedding was beautiful, in the freezing cold, but beautiful, it was at a botanical gardens on top of Mount Tomah or Tomar or something like that. The night before the wedding was spent at a barbque where besides Dennis and I, everyone there spoke Dutch, it was an interesting evening, which also included lots of beer. I had spent the past week searching for a nice dress for the wedding. It didn't help that in Australia, I count as being a plus size 16 in dresses, so everything I tried on that was a bit smaller, fit me everywhere except the butt and hips, and everything in my so called size looked like a Mumu. This country is filled with buttless women, someone with curves has trouble finding any decent dresses. I did finally find one though, it's like the one that Marylin Monroe wore in that famous movie scene where it blows up all around her when she stands on that grate in the street, only mine is black. And as if we weren't being constantly hounded enough by people asking when me and Dennis were going to get engaged, I caught the boquet. It was a very funtastic day, filled with memories of Simon showing us what he wasn't wearing beneath his kilt, and the flower girl feeling the need to share with everone that her mommie was wearing light blue panties. The next day was a very lazy day, we stayed in bed till 2, it was great. The past two days have been spent doing lots of running around with Dennis, visiting his grandma and hanging out with the guys, but now Dennis is at work and I will eventually get out of these warm flannel pjs and go and do something. Right after I research stuff about my trip to New Zealand which is creaping up on me pretty quick it seems.
