Coachella!
Why is it the weekend I miss faire that I burn the hell out of my boobs? I really toasted my tits at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last weekend. Two days of watching bands play in the middle of the dessert kicked total ass, and totally kicked my ass. I am still absolutely exhausted from it all. I totally let myself get dehydrated, but at 2 bucks for a tiny bottle of water, that was way too easy to do. Bands playing on five different stages from 11 am till midnight is just a whole lot of standing and dancing, and top that off with three nights of little to no sleep in a campsite, and I was just about ready to pass out. Enough about how much of a wimp this party girl has become, the shows totally fucking ROCKED! I couldn't even list everyone I saw, some of the shows I only caught a little bit of, we were trying to see as much as we could. The ones who I loved were Weezer, Coldplay, Nine Inch Nails, New Order, Keane, Jamie Cullum, The Sexy Magazines, The Prodigy and Bauhaus, and a few others who's names I can;t remember at the moment, I also caught a few very impressive DJs like Miss Kittin and again, some who's names I don't know right off, but they were totally cool. The hot sun sucked, but the shows were so cool. I'm so glad I took yesterday off of work to attempt to recover from my weekend, but I still think I need a nap.
