I have a wedding to go to in the Inland Empire and two parties in the OC, one of which I told a friend who lives in Glendale that I would take him to. Can't wait to party, work has left me wrecked this week. Today, I had to deal with one of my cashiers being spaced out and high, a mental customer who was getting suicidal kinda scary with a cord around her neck in the front of the store, and shoplifters (which is the norm there) And this is the same week where they have had me close and open back to back leaving me stressed and sleepwalking. I'm tired and even though it's almost one am, I'm too high strung to sleep at the moment. I think I need a beer or sex or something to calm me down and help me sleep. Tomarrow will be better, parties will make it all better :) And hopefully then there will be no more sleepwalking
My sis sleepwalks when she is overtired and stressed out, and now, I believe it has been passed on to me. Work has been crazy, I got a big fat promotion and have had one hell of a training for this new position. NOw the way my store likes to train people is to kinda throw them in and let them learn as they go, and when a problem arises, they look a little stupid while they try to figure it out or ask someone what to do. I've finally gotten the hang of being a supervisor type person, and the other day, I closed by myself for the very first time, immedialtely followed by opening by myself for the very first time. Now this is having one shift end at 11 pm and the next one start at 7am the next day. So I was over tired and stressed out, and during the night inbetween, I could not stop dreaming about work. I woke up at 3am, standing at my closet, in the dark, in my bra and work shirt and trying to put my pants for work on over my pjs. I don't believe I have ever been sleepwalking before, or have even talked in my sleep, so this is a totally new concept for me. Anyhow, weird stuff. Hopefully that sucky shift is not going to be a regular occurance on my weekly schedule, or next I may try to cook in my sleep like my sister has done before, although sleepwalking down my stairs might be tricky.
