Okay, so on Thursday, March 5, I submitted something to Eggplant Publishing for their "virtual" library. Jon asked for the market and, on the same day, ended up submitting a couple of things of his own.
The next day, I got a rejection and he got two acceptances. Not to be deterred, I hit the keys and e'd a second submission the same day. Then I waited. And waited. I wouldn't have become concerned if it hadn't been for the speed of the original turnaround. After four weeks, I queried to check if it had been received and was told yes, and she hoped to get me an answer by the end of the following week. So, yes, long story short (okay, so it wasn't that long), they are buying it. :)! They're scheduled to produce a couple of new works per week to stay online for 6 months, so it looks like, in time, I'll actually get to share virtual shelf space with Jon. {giggle} :)!! Keys tuned: Um, none; I've been hanging w/my hubby. QotD Many people hear voices when no-one is there. Some of them are called mad and are shut up in rooms where they stare at the walls all day. Others are called writers and they do pretty much the same thing. -- Margaret Chittenden, writer Read/Post Comments (13) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
