As a parent, it may be sacrilegious to admit this, but I no longer think Hunter is The Cutest Baby Ever. He's developed puffy bags under his eyes and he's gotten kind of jowly. He's also turning more and more into a little person, which is pretty nifty.

And yet, loss of generic cuteness notwithstanding, when I look at him, my heart stops, and when he smiles, there is nothing else in the world.
