This is one of those situations when procrastination is a good thing.

I haven't gotten around to packing up any of my winter clothes, even though it's been almost 70. Sometimes.

First week of March: damn cold. Not unexpected.

Second and second weeks of March: surprisingly warm. Saturday the 24th, it's in the high 60s, and I take Hunter out to the park. I resign myself to the end of a disappointing winter and start to work in the garden.

Tuesday, March 27th, we got 5 inches of snow.

Thursday, March 29th -- no sign that we ever had snow. Ground's a bit damp, but that's it.

First week of April: temperatures back into the low 60s.

Right now, this second: snowing like a son-of-a-gun.


I think someone, somewhere, a diety of some sort is laughing his/her head off.
