Shawn and I rented "The Forbidden Kingdom" last night. A brief, spoiler-free review:

Plot: Standard.

Character Development: Sufficient.

Choreography: Pretty good. I'm not a big fan of wirework, but I found most of the fight scenes interesting and fun to watch.

Ending: Predictable but emotionally satisfying.

Cinematography: Oh. My. God. I think this may be the single most gorgeous film I have ever seen. There were so many absolutely breathtaking shots -- colors, layers, textures, shadows, depth, movement -- that if I'd seen it on the big screen, I think my head would have exploded.

Wow. Just... wow.
