I read for my own enjoyment, and read what I'd like to write (but don't write that well), so my choices are a bit on the light side. (Thanks to Scout for the idea and the questions - I stole it without asking...)
What are you reading right now? ****SWEET REVENGE by Diane Mott Davidson, a light mystery set near Denver Colorado Do you have any idea what you'll read when you're done with that? ****THE ANIMATED MAN, by Michael Barrier, a bio of Walt Disney, assuming the library gets it in. Because I will only have a couple weeks to digest it. What's the worst thing you were ever forced to read? ****Most of the stuff I was "forced" to read seemed to be a chore at the time, like LORD JIM or THINGS FALL APART. But really I can't say I've hated anything. What's the one book you always recommend to just about everyone? ****In SF, it's probably ENDERS GAME by Orson Scott Card. In Horror/Fantasy, probably THE SHINING by King. And in Mystery, it's probably GONE FOR GOOD by Harlan Coben. Admit it, the librarians at your library know you on a first name basis, don't they? ****No, but the clerk at the Borders Express does. Do you read books while you eat? ****I would but my wife doesn't like it. While you bathe? ****Hard to read in the shower. While you watch movies or TV? ****Occasionally but it's hard to do both. While you listen to music? ****Yes, often. While you're on the computer? ****No. While you're having sex? ****No. While you're driving? ****No but stopped at lights I do sometimes. What's the last thing you stayed up half the night reading because it was so good you couldn't put it down? ****It's been a long time. Maybe Book 7 of the Dark Tower series by King.
