I was thinking about books I've read by my "must read" guys (and gals). I realized that there really hasn't been much...I haven't been nearly as prolific a reader as I have been in the past. But...

I did finish two books by Jeffery Deaver. THE TWELFTH CARD and THE COLD MOON both featured the detecting team of quadraplegic genius Lincoln Rhyme and gorgeous crime scene evidence technician Amelia Sachs. They've been a team for a long time now, since THE BONE COLLECTOR. Both of these books were satisfying reads with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing and keeping you off balance. I have another by Deaver (his latest; I cannot remember the title at this moment) coming up soon.

Then I finished two by Michael Connelly. ECHO PARK and THE OVERLOOK both were Harry Bosch novels. I could say almost the same thing about Bosch's cases; very satisfying reads with good detecting, and plenty of instances of things not being what they appear to be.

Then I also finished the lastest Repairman Jack novel by F. Paul Wilson, called BLOODLINE. It's a good continuation of Jack's story, but it feels like it left me hanging. Not too much closure in this one.

I may edit this entry if and when I come up with others. Till then, a bientot!
