I saw another blog entry about a charity, and thought I'd mention my favorite one: The Will Grundy Medical and Dental Clinic. (By the way, "Will" and "Grundy" are the names of counties in Illinois, it isn't someone's name.)

I used to volunteer here several times a year, but with my life the way it is currently (ie, small kids at home), I don't do it very much anymore. I'm thinking that the time might be here for me to do a little bit of volunteering again, treating dental conditions in an un-served population.

Recently I've just been a donor.

There are many such clinics around the country, perhaps not as many as are needed, but they're around, if you know what to look for or where to look. This is our effort in our area to provide care - medical and dental - to those that cannot afford it otherwise.
