It's hard to read, but yet it's interesting and thought provoking. I'm learning some things about the history of physics and the theories that became in vogue in the 20th century, from Einstein's predecessors to ... well, I'm currently on the quantum mechanics theory, which sort of flipped Einstein's theories upside down. It's funny, because as I read this book, I am reminded of various SF novels I've read, and how they used the theories to postulate various ways around the limits of light speed and such. Kaku himself uses lots of analogies and references to various SF writers' short stories. I'll keep slogging, because though it's difficult, I'm still interested.
