My new laptop arrived last night at about 6:30, easing my worry that it wouldn't arrive until after Thanksgiving. I told the UPS guy that I loved him. He told me that he gets that a lot.

So, today has been spent in doing all of the things one needs to do with a brand-spankin' new computer, and downloading all of the miscellaneous software that makes life easier and more enjoyable. I also transferred files from my various other computers to this one, including some old old files from my Clarion days. That took up a huge chunk of time, simply because I had to stop and read all of my old Clarion stories.

Goddamn, but I need to do some edits on these and get back into the mix. Some of them suck, but some of them are Not Bad. Sheesh, I've been out of the loop for so long, I've just about forgotten just how to submit stories! I also need to scrape up the lastest issue of Speculations to see what the markets are.

Should be interesting.
