It's been lazy slow at work this week. My forensic equipment has finally been ordered though, so I'll have plenty to do in a couple of weeks. Nearly eight grand for two computers, plus another seven grand for software and peripherals. Ya gotta love it. Bring on the porn!!

I also need to find someone with a Playstation (which for some reason my department won't purchase for me) because I have a case with several cd-roms where we're pretty sure the suspect has somehow stored his kiddie porn in a format that can only be seen on a Playstation. I'm probably just going to have to put a mass-email out to the entire department and see if anyone has one that I can borrow.

If you have time to kill, I recommend checking out some of the journals participating. The last time I did the Holidailies was in 2001, and I found some terrific journals that I still follow to this day. Cool stuff.
