My friend Kat and I went to the Renn Faire today and had a pretty cool time. I used to work at the Georgia Renaissance Festival--was costume director for five years--and so I always enjoy that sort of thing. The Louisiana version is far smaller than the Georgia one, but it's only a few years old and is still developing its particular flair. Kat and I both agreed that the joust sucked verily though and that they needed to find a different troupe to do it next year. Anna seemed to enjoy herself too, and I don't think anyone noticed me nursing her in the middle of the joust.

The rest of the day has been pleasantly non-exciting. Played with my baby, got her to bed, ate the dinner Jack brought home, did some writing and some reading. Nice day overall.
