All right, I'll jump on this Ten Things bandwagon.

Ten Things I've Done That You Probably Haven't

(Although I have such a wide variety of people reading this journal that I rather doubt it.)

1) Quit my job and took a 60% pay cut to go into law enforcement.

2) Graduated #1 in my academy in Academics, Shooting, and POST score. At the graduation listened to the Chief of Police of Slidell (for whom I did not work, thank god) say to the other graduates, in front of the entire assembly of graduates, parents, co-workers, and families, "I can't believe you all let a GIRL beat you."

3) Been stabbed. (Not in the line of duty.)

4) Looked down the barrel of a gun as the bad guy was pulling the trigger. (In the line of duty.)

5) Eaten bugs.

6) Flown in a T-37 trainer jet.

7) Slept under the stars on a mesa in Wyoming, watching a meteor shower.

8) Been sprayed with pepper spray, and have sprayed others with pepper spray.

9) Spent four hours in the ER after getting bit by a woman I was arresting, subsequently getting shots for tetanus, Hepatitis, Gamma Globulin, and beginning a course of HIV drugs until a court could order a blood test on the bitch.

10)Saved someone's life by performing CPR on them until EMS could get there.
