Litigation station

Yet another sign that the people of this country have way too much time on their hands and love litigation far too much. There is actually a group of people who have filed a class-action lawsuit against movie theaters to keep them from showing ads before movies.

Give me a break. Yes, please, let's tie up the court system even more because you simply can't tolerate sitting through five minutes of cheesy commercials. Oh my dear god, the audience is "captive" and cannot avoid the commercials.

That's weird. I've never noticed the locking straps in the seats. I manage to visit the concession stand, or go to the bathroom, or heck, just ignore the ad and talk to the person I went to the movie with. God forbid the theater should try and make some money off the advertisements. Those rat bastards! You know what? We should file lawsuits against everyone who tries to advertise to our unwilling self! Those buses that have ads on the side... the images are impaling my eyes and I can't get away! Oh no, the websites with google ads... sue them! I'm captive because I want to look at the content of the site and can't... tear... my... eyes.. away.. argggggghhh...

Sheesh. Wah wah wah. People whine WAY too much over stupid crap. Just go to the damn movie. Enjoy the trailers. Ignore the ads. Stop whining. And stop tying up the legal system.
