Well, Sports Night certainly flew under my radar when it was on TV. In a way, I'm glad -- that means I don't have the agony of waiting each week to watch the next episode.

The show is witty, clever, moving and generally addictive. Since it was written as a half-hour show, the actual run time of the episodes on disc is only about 22 minutes. The episodes end too soon, and it's very, very easy to just want to sit back and watch another (hey, it's only about 20 minutes), and another (why not?) and another (but we've only got one more left on the disc) until the night has become the morning. The wee hours of the morning.

I highly recommend Sports Night. It's not about sports, it's about the people who make a news show about sports.

And, for the record, my favorite character has to be Natalie. But my favorite relationship is definitely Dana and Casey.
