Last night I finally got myself a copy of Writers Of The Future Volume XIX and got it signed my Jay.

William J. Widdel, the biographer of L. Ron Hubbard talked about the writer and the contest. He brought copies of his new book on Mr. Hubbard and it was lovely coffee table book, filled with pulp magazine covers of issues that Hubbard appeared in.

It wasn't as informative about the contest as I had hoped it to be, but then just entering each quarter is all one needs to know. The WOTF people will be at OryCon this weekend.

Otherwise, the workshop had around twenty five people attending last night. We had a late start because of the WOTF presentation, but we still critiqued three stories in one hour without breaks. We finished a little after nine o'clock. Not bad at all.

I'm on the calendar to bring a story next week, plus I'm going to OryCon this weekend. Editor Marty Greenberg is going to be there. And I'm trying to stay focused on revising the novel.
