Looking ahead, beginning with next weekend, X and I will be taking a jaunt to San Francisco. Should be fun. I've never been to SF and I'm looking forward to it. We might even end up doing the Tango somewhere there. It's all about networking, ya know? One Tango community knows about another.

Until then, I've started a short story that seems to be flowing, so I'll see if I can get it done by Saturday.

I haven't read a novel in awhile. I'm a slow reader, but I could read much more if I'm at least consistent and steady with reading, like finishing one novel and picking up another right away. I'm in the mood for some Stephen King, therefore I'll take Bag Of Bones with me on the trip.

Further ahead, there's the Strange Horizons Oregon reunion in July, probably six weeks away. Then there's World Fantasy in Tempe, Arizona. For that one I'll also be visiting my mom in Mesa and she'll get to meet X.

There was a novel workshop on the coast this weekend and I've been hearing reports. I'm eager to go to another and I'm signed up for the November one. This means I need to write the next novel and I need to start it soon. Oh boy. I may have to write this one fast.
