2004-08-04 9:19 PM “Head Development and the Integration of the Contents and the Container" I gotta give Ray Vukcevich credit for giving me the title for this journal entry. “Head Development and the Integration of the Contents and the Container” is actually a talk in neuroscience at the U of O. That title just screams to be a title for a journal--I mean "Writing Progress" is a journal about my developement as a writer, but it's so much more as I add other things about my life. I guess my head doesn't develope as much as it did during the early years or even the early days. I suppose these days, these later years, the contents (specifically the mind) develope more than my head. But I digress here (if only because I'm rambling) and say I thought it would at the least make a good title for an entry to my journal. So what has been developing? I've gotten some words down on a short story which I call "imagination heavy." Those are the funnest to write even though I get the feeling when people read this one they're going to think I wrote it while on acid. Integration of the contents and the container: writing new words, good words makes my whole being shine. There's a fine vibration running through me.
