Mood: Amused Read/Post Comments (8) |
2006-01-23 7:17 PM Those weird weird habits Mike Jasper tagged me for the five weird habit meme. It goes like this:
The Rules: The first player of this game starts with the topic "five weird habits" and people who get tagged need to write an entry about their five weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next five people to be tagged and link to their web journals. Don't forget to leave a comment in their blog or journal that says "You have been tagged" (assuming they take comments) and tell them to read yours. Okay, here are my weird habits: 1. I pace around the apartment when I brush my teeth. Usually in a pleasant, daydreaming state. 2. I shift to neutral and coast when approaching red lights and stop signs instead of shifting down through the gears. However I do wonder if this is more common than I realize. 3. Even after twenty years, I still get the Indiana Jones theme in my head if I'm running somewhere. 4. I tend not to drive slow enough when searching for parking spots and house addresses. Especially if someone is on my tail. To go deeper to the heart of this behavior: there's the guilty part of me that doesn't want to slow someone else down. In fact, this attitude is pervasive in many of my behaviors. I'm more concerned about inconveniencing someone else than focusing on what I'm doing. 5. This last one probably isn't a habit, but it is funny, and since I'm here to amuse the reader of this journal occasionally, I'll say it: I do not find small round foods appetizing. Grapes, cherries, gumdrops, olives, m&m's, peas, etc. I've been like this all my life. I don't know if it's because I choked on something round as a small child or what, but before I even consider eating a small round food (this phobia is really easy to overcome) I gotta get over the low-grade ick factor. If the olives, for example, are chopped, there is no ick factor. The next five players:Jim Trey Heather Jenn Jon Have fun. Read/Post Comments (8) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
