What a weird May around here, weather-wise. The start of the month had frosty mornings, cool days. Then we had hot days, temperatures in the high seventies, low eighties, sunshine, sunshine. Now the rain is back. It's warm, though, so that's good. And we had hail on Sunday.

I had planned on going to workshop tonight and picking up the stories for next week's critique. It's only two blocks away, but I found myself sneering at the rain and thus I decided not to go. All's not lost. I can still get the stories online before next week.

Perhaps I could have a story ready for next week, too.

And I think the sun will be back again as well.
