Well, after a five-day Memorial Day weekend (spanning from Friday through Tuesday), I'm back at work. Yes, I know it's Thursday, and I did come back yesterday, but things tend to pile up over five days and I still haven't finished them yet. Right now, I'm taking a breather.

One of my duties here is the upkeep of what we call the "Compliance Report". It's a database that has all the licensure information for the hospital in it, including what licenses people have and when they're due to expire (and as such, when they need to renew them by).

Yesterday afternoon, somebody came down with a /handtruck/, carrying papers that needed to be entered into it. A stack of papers, probably about three feet high or so.

*ARGH*

I haven't even looked at that yet. I'm still catching up from the other things that needed to be done over this weekend. That'll come soon enough. I hope.

And to top it all off, about a week and a half ago I got a letter saying that I'm being called in for Jury Duty on June 10th. As if I needed more time for my work to build up with me not there. Granted, this is the first time I've been called for Jury Duty, but it's still really damn inconvenient.
