One thing rainy days have always done to me is make it hard for me to fully wake up. Don't know why it is - might be that it's just darker from the clouds, might be 'cause my body just wants to find an excuse to not go outside in it. Either way, I could use a few more hours of sleep right now.

So, here I am again, at work. Slavin' to the grind. Earnin' that paycheck.

Slacking like a madman.

I just can't get myself motivated today to do anything. I know I have things to do. I've got a task list right here on my computer, staring at me, with about five things to get done. So, in the interest of productivity, I've chosen to do none of them, and post about it in my journal instead.

Okay. I'm going to go try and work on this damn database one more time, and see if I can't get an across-the-board pay increase to go through. Happily, I'm one of the people that increase will be affecting, so I guess that's motivation enough.
