Okay, it's been a while since I've been able to post an entry, but pretty much the best way to keep up with what's been going on in my life between my occasional entries is to check out my fiancee Jen's journal. She's much more religious about posting that I am.

First and foremost, yesterday was the wedding shower for Jen and myself. It was, to put it bluntly, unbelievable. People came who were haven't seen in at least a year, and much fun was had by all. To those of you who made it - thank you! You all kick ass.

On the work front, it's been totally non-stop. The last month and a half have been spent setting up the automated benefits process on the computer system, in which all the employees' benefits (health insurance, etc.) would be renewed for the new year without having to manually refresh each and every one of the 1,500 entries. We're about halfway through the final phase of it, which means that once it's done, it'll give me a bit of breathing room there to catch up on all the work that I'd normally be doing during this time, and now sits in a two-foot high pile behind my desk. May even be pulling a later night or two this week to make sure it's done.

We were supposed to wake up at around 8:30 this morning to go to Dim Sum at a restaurant in Chinatown, but instead found ourselves barely crawling out of bed around noon. So much for plans, but the sleep was muchly needed.
