Today was... eh.

At some point yesterday, I started feeling sick. I went out ot the supermarket, came back, and my glands started swelling up. By this morning, my throat was itchy, I was coughing, and my glands were the size of marbles.

I went to work, where - joy of joys! - we were starting a mock Joint Commission inspection. Esentially, people from JCAHO (the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Hospital Organizations) came to the hospital, and did an inspection of the place, its policies and procedures, employee files, the whole nine yards. Which means that I spent most of the day collecting data on whose files should, theoretically, be in shape, and whose looked like a train wreck.

We've got a lot of train wrecks.

They'll be continuing this through Wednesday. Hopefully, we'll be in decent shape for the real inspection in February.

After work, I headed home - Jen and Carrie spent the day studying for the bar exam there, and I was cooking pasta for 'em for dinner. After a quick stop at the supermarket to get ingredients for the sauce, and the Godiva store (chocolate helps studying, or so I'm told), dinner was on.

Went out later to pick up one of Jen's prescriptions from Sav-On, but that's not all that exciting. *shrug* When we can start picking up meds at Krispy Kreme, then I'll write more about it. :)
