Today wasn't bad at all.

Jen had to get up early to go to her PMBR class, so I got up with her and headed out to the DMV in Van Nuys. They're open one Saturday a month, and yesterday was that Saturday. Long and short of it - I've got my learner's permit again. Hopefully, I'll actually get around to trying for my license this time.

After I did that, I headed up to where Jen and Carrie were at class with some McDonald's for lunch, hung out with them until they had to go back in, and headed home. Did a bit of shopping (we needed more cat litter) first, though.

Oh, and I saw a celebrity in Ralphs - Rose McGowan. She's a lot shorter than I thought she was. *shrug* And Shannon, the tattoo'd be perfect. ;)

Thankfully, I haven't gotten any calls from work saying the upgrade's crashed and burned, so I'm taking that as a good sign. Either that, or the computers took our IS department down with 'em.
