Just a quick update on life, the universe, and everything since I've got about a ten-minute breather here at work.

On the home front, everything's going well. Jen is getting sworn in on Friday to become a full-fledged attorney, and her mom is flying in this week (actually, tomorrow) to come see it. We took down Jen's dead iMac last night, only to replace it with my dead PC, only to replace THAT with Jen's dying laptop. Electronics don't fare very well around our house, as you may have noticed. We'll be on the hunt for a new computer soon - any recommendations are highly appreciated.

Work is, and always has been, a different story. It seems that nothing around here ever goes smoothly, and even a raise this week and another one pending in the next month isn't enough to make me not contemplate shopping my resume around. All depends on the size of those raises, I guess... I know the first one is going to be in the area of 3.5% (the annual housewide adjustment), but it's the second one that may make or break it.
