1. Regardless of training, education, skills, or experience - if you could have ANY job what would it be and why? I'd be a brain surgeon. A professional brain surgeon. Honestly, I'd have to say a geneticist. No, not in the "hey, let's build us an army of ten-armed, six legged super solders" way, but in the "hey, if we poke this gene the right way, this disease goes kablooey" way. It just fascinates me. 2. What are the best things and the worst things about your life right now? Jen is definitely one of the best things in my life right now - being married is wonderful, even in spite of some occasional differences we have. And it's nice to have someone to come home to. The worst thing in my life right now is stress. Work is stressful, especially nowadays with the Joint Commission inspection next week. That, coupled with generally poor sleeping habits and just the daily grind of things wears me down like there's no tomorrow. 3. Where do you see yourself when you are 40? That's a good question. I really never looked too far ahead in my life - I've always preferred to do things more spontaneously, just take things as they come. 40, huh? Wow. That's, what, 11 years off? Hopefully in a better job. Maybe with a degree in something. Definitely still married to Jen - she ain't getting rid of me that easily. I'd like a kid, too, and 40 seems like a good time to have one before. I could probably be more vague if I tried really hard. 4. On that note, if I would have asked you when you were 18 where you would see yourself now (at 28), what would you have said? If it's different than where you are now, why do you think it's different? When I was 18, I hadn't yet burned out on computer science, and was planning on working for either Sega or Industrial Light and Magic. I think it's different because the whole computer science thing worked out much more poorly than I had hoped it would. 5. If you could have one superpower what would it be, why would you want it, and what would you do with it? Easy. I love travelling, so I'd have to go with the old favorite, teleportation. I'd go EVERYWHERE. ---------- Want your five questions from me? RULES: 1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed (or e-mail me). 2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions. 3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers. 4 - You'll include this explanation. 5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
