I'm looking around my office right now, and I'm experiencing the most amazing feeling, one that I haven't felt in this job in a long, long time... satisfaction. I know it won't last long, mostly because of the nature of the beast, so I'm just going to sit back and savor it while I can.

At this very moment, for the first time in months (and perhaps longer)... I'm actually completely caught up on my work. I have nothing pending. I have nothing half-done. My inbox is empty, and the project I had been working on for the last three weeks is complete.

Man, this feels good.

I know I have another project next week, and a pretty major one at that. However, this means that I can fully throw myself into it without having to worry about what else needs to be done, because there isn't anything else that needs to be done.

And now... I'm gonna get me a cookie.
