Sausage & Peppers for a Dozen Oven-roasted Italian sausage, green pepper and onion, perfectly-seasoned pasta sauce and cheese are piled into Italian sandwich rolls.
3 LBS sweet Italian sausage OR hot Italian sausage, cut into 2" pieces 3 medium onions, sliced 3 medium green peppers, cut into strips 1 jar (67 oz.) Prego® Traditional Pasta Sauce (7½ cups) 12 Italian sandwich rolls, split Grated Parmesan cheese
Place the sausage in a 16½"x12"x2½" disposable foil pan. Bake at 425° F. for 45 minutes or until sausage is browned; pour off fat. Add the onions, peppers and pasta sauce. Cover.
