We hadn’t been there in ages, so it was a nice outing on our anniversary. Nothing fancy for us, mind you! We arrived early to beat the crowds and started loading up. Wilbert tends to gather a lot of meat and eggs, while I stuck with biscuits and gravy (wonderful, fluffy biscuits), a waffle and a handful of bacon which I snuck into my purse for Foofer. I actually plan to “take away” some food by Foofer by placing an empty plastic sandwich bag in my purse, leaving it open and unzipping my purse just a tad so I can get my hand in.
This drives Wilbert crazy; he feels it isn’t right. However, I am of the mind that we paid for the meal and whether I eat what’s on my plate or not is beside the point. Besides, by the time we left I had filled the plastic baggie with more bacon and a slice of ham. It wasn’t as if I was hauling away a whole side of beef!
