2004-09-18 6:34 PM Noodles for Lunch Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (0) Today’s lunch consisted of an “instant” meal from the Thai Kitchen. Called “Noodle Kits,” I cooked up the Thai Peanut variety in about three minutes. Despite the small single-serving quantity, the cellophane noodles were quite good and the sauce had a zesty tang.
Yesterday I went all-out and prepared my husband a proper breakfast (link sausages, Potatoes O’Brien and scrambled eggs), so today he’s on his own for culinary fixings. I bought an extra box of Thai noodles, but knowing him the amount will never suffice. When he resorts to canned ravioli for dinner, it’s a signal that he’s hungering for a home cooked meal.
