Since Halloween is fast approaching, I dug up some old ghoulish-treat-recipes that used to be on display at Savorys by Shenanchie. Here’s one to get the ball rolling:

Witches Brew

2 C apple cider

1½ to 2 C vanilla ice cream

2 TBS honey

½ tsp. cinnamon

¼ tsp. nutmeg

Cinnamon sticks

 

Process the cider, ice cream, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg in a food processor or blender until the mixture is smooth. Pour into glasses and sprinkle with additional nutmeg, and put a cinnamon stick in each glass. Serve at once.
