Don't ask where I got this list thingy...it was just convenient that I happened to go there because this is exactly the sort of thing I was interested in doing right now... Little known facts about me: Last time I... -Smiled? This morning, on my way into the office, I passed this large black man who looked really pissed off about something. I smiled at him and said, "Good morning." Might just be wishful thinking, but he looked less pissed off... -Laughed? Last night during News Radio. I don't remember what happened, but I looked across the table at my dad, and he looked and me and we both just started laughing. It was just one of those moments. -Cried? This morning, in the shower. -Bought something? I bought a small vanilla milkshake at McDonald's on the way to my counseling session on Tuesday. -Danced? Does bouncing to the music in my car or at my desk count? No? Okay, then it was probably in May or June, the last time I went to see HBBQ at the Lush. -Were sarcastic? Last night, when my brother told my father that he wanted to close his bank account out. I think I said, "Oh, that's a *great* idea." -Kissed someone? Last night, when my mom got home from her tour of the state for work. But if you mean *really* kissed someone, it was on October 27. -Hugged someone? Last night, when my mom got home from her tour of the state for work... -Talked to an ex? On IM, about a half-hour ago, B told me he was logging out. On the phone, B called me last night. In-person, Steve and I went to dinner Wednesday before Thanksgiving. -Watched your favorite movie? November 11, I watched the first half or so of it. Haven't seen it beginning to end in a while, couldn't tell you how long. Course, my favorite movie can change with the wind... -Had a nightmare? Last night. To go with the ones I've had every night since the beginning of September. But they're getting to be less scary and more frustrating and annoying because I would really like to have a full night of sleep. -Last book you read: The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy, by Vicki Iovine. -Last movie you saw: In a theatre? Monsters, Inc. on Nov. 11. Any movie, in general, would have been Adventures in Babysitting, on Saturday. -Last phone number you called: Valerie, to ask for directions to her house. -Last show you watched on TV: All the way through? Family Ties, last night on Nick. Cheers came on afterwards, but I fell asleepy. -Last thing you had to drink: Water. About 8 seconds ago. Want some? -Last time you showered: From about 6:05 to about 6:20 this morning. -Last thing you ate: Four-day-old, reheated, gross, greasy, almost crunchy mac and cheese. No, I'm not exaggerating. It was foul, but I was *hungry*. Do I... 1. Smoke? Only when set on fire. 2. Do drugs? Legal, or illegal? Either way, rarely. Never done anything contraband, but I used to take anti-depressants. 3. Have Sex? Not anymore. 4. Sleep with stuffed animals? I have a ton of stuffed animals, but I only sleep with one - my teddy bear, Stormy. He loves me, even when nobody else does. :-p 5. Have a crush? Nope, and not planning on that changing anytime soon. Not like I have access to many people to have crushes *on*, anyway. 6. Have a boyfriend/girlfriend? Nope, I'm currently residing down at the end of Lonely Street... 7. Have a dream that keeps coming back? Yes, and it's starting to really piss me off. 8. Play an instrument? I play many instruments. None of them *well* or *correctly*, though. Took lessons in cello and sax when I was a kid, but they never stuck. Been, on occasion, trying to teach myself piano for the past 20 years, but I'm not very devoted to it, and I don't have a piano. 9. Believe there is life on other planets? Yeah, but I don't know that it's necessarily intelligent by our standards. Let's just say, I don't necessarily *believe* that intelligent life exists on other planets - but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. 10. Remember your first love? Fondly. 11. Still love him/her? In a kind of complicated way, yes. I love him, just differently. I kinda wish we'd been able to stay friends, but at the time, it wasn't feasible. Was a pleasant split, though, considering. 12. Read the newspaper? Only if someone hands me a specific article, or something happens to catch my eye while it's laying open on the table. I figure most of the important news, someone will be talking about at work. 13. Have any gay or lesbian friends? Yes, more gay than lesbian. Many who are bi. 14. Is it possible to remain faithful forever? Yes, if your heart is in it, and you do it together. 15. Do you Consider yourself tolerant of others? Too much so. 17. Consider police a friend or foe? Friends. Always friend. Nice police officers. :-) (Actually, I want to go into a branch of law enforcement, so if I think they're foes, I'm really in for trouble...) 18. Like the taste of alcohol? Uh...ew, no. Unless I'm specifically *trying* to get drunk, for some reason, I would prefer a Shirley Temple or a virgin Strawberry Daiquiri, thank you kindly. :-) 19. Believe in magic? Depends. Are we talking sleight of hand stuff, or Black Magic Willow stuff? I guess my answer is "Yes and No". If you feel the need to *prove* it to me, great, but please don't cast bad magic on me, I have enough to deal with right now. :-p 20. Believe in God? Without a doubt. 21. Have any secrets? Not really. Least, none that are really *mine*. 22. Have any pets? Does the little fishy in my belly count? Otherwise, no. 23. Do well in school? When I cared, yes. 24. Go to or plan to go to college? Yes, and yes. In time. :-) 25. Have a degree? BA in English. I'm trying to figure out how to get back in so I can get my MS in Forensic Psychology. 26. Talk to strangers who instant message you? Usually distractedly, and only until they ask me if I want to cyber, or tell me they're horny. All the nice people, though, usually become friends so they aren't strangers anymore... 27. Wear hats? Not as often as I should. I like hats. 28. Have any piercings? My ears. Apparently, I had to have them done twice...mom said I let them grow shut the first time. I think they still have holes, but I haven't put earrings in in months, if not years... 29. Have any tattoos? No, thanks. Permanent, painful, and most parts of my body risk eventually sagging. 30. Hate yourself? No. But there's been a lot of times lately that I really didn't like myself. We're working on it, though. 31. Have a horny spot? Yeah, but I don't know if it still works. I seem to recall it didn't the last time or two someone tried it... 32. Get horny easily? Nope. If I'm stressed out at all, I just can't. 33. Have a best friend? Rob. :-) 34. Wish on stars? Yes. When I want something really, really badly, I'll wish on anything. Right now, I want a healthy, happy little girl come March. I'm wishing on *satellites* for that one (and occasionally, an airplane, too!) 35. Like your handwriting? Depends on how much effort I'm putting into it. If I'm trying to write neatly, I have nice handwriting. 36. Care about looks? To some extent. I don't like walking out of the house looking like crap, but mostly, I focus on my hair and not much else. Long as the clothes *fit*, and I don't look like Jabba, I don't much care. Regardless of that, though - I don't ever really like the way I look, and I do care about that, I just don't put a whole lot of effort into it - seems futile. 37. Believe in Satan? Yes. He tormented my formative years, and just the idea of him still bothers me to this day. Who else could be responsible for clowns and spiders? 38. Believe in ghosts? Off and on. I'm interested in the paranormal, and very intrigued, but never met up with a ghost, my own self. 39. Believe in Santa? I believe in the spirit of Santa. But apparently, I was the bitch who told my brother he didn't exist when I was like 4 or 5. I can't imagine why I did that, though, but apparently I broke his heart (he was 10 or 11). I had no idea... 40. Have a second family? Yes, in LA - my good friends. I feel like I should be going to them for Christmas this year. :-) 41. Trust others easily? Easily and stupidly. I'm trying to kick that habit. 42. Like sarcasm? When it's not being used to make me look or feel like an ass, yes. 43. Take walks in the rain? Yes, until it gets too cold. Walking in the rain is cathartic. 44. Kiss with your eyes closed? Sure. 45. Sing in the shower? When the radio is on in there and the song kicks ass, yes. 46. Own handcuffs? I used to, but I can't remember who got those in the split, me or Steve. I don't think I've seen them since then, though. 47. Have any scars? More than I can count. Mostly from bug bites as a child. Also, one up my right shin bone from shaving when I was 16 (goes pretty much ankle to knee, and bled like a faucet for a good part of an hour), one on my right hand from a goofy fight in early high school (or was it late middle school?), one on my right arm from the nugget warmer at Wendy's when I was 16 or 17, and one on my upper lip that's scarred, but also just really hasn't ever healed, and it splits anytime my lips get chapped. Oh, and one on my left shoulder, from stabbing myself with a woodburning pen in middle school. Bored yet? Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
