Soooo. I'm at DTCC right now, working on my essay for English Composition. Taking a really brief moment to write a bit in here. So Hurricane Earl's supposed to hit the east coast by tomorrow. So far, it's places like North and South Carolina, which is 3-4 hours drive from where I live. A really intense storm is supposed to hit New York by tomorrow (evening?) and pretty much the whole New England area. Wow. I'd never experience this in a long time because last time, I was a kid.

I was talking about it with my mother, asking stuff to jog my memory. Well, the last time a hurricane's storm hit Delaware, I was probably 6-7 years old and I think my mother was pregnant with Joseph at the time. My mother and my sisters were in the car, driving home from the grocery store. It was raining, and all of a sudden, it started getting really intense. As in, "stoplights-violently-swinging-on-the-wire" intense. My mother said she remembers someone screaming. I guess that was either me or Leah. My older sister Isabelle was probably being really calm about it *not surprised about that* The one thing I remember vividly was the stoplights swinging above our car. I'm really glad that they didn't fall, it would've totalled the car's hood.

Anyways, there's my little "I-was-kinda-in-a-hurricane" tangent. Hopefully, the storm coming around this weekend won't be as bad. Or at least, the roof of my house won't fly off.

Scarves. Well, I did put "scarves" in the entry title (Yeah, reaaalllyy nice excuse, Sophie), so....I guess I'm going on a tangent about scarves now. Well, I'm wearing one right now because September just started. w00t! Let the autumn come!!!! Ch'yeah. Autumn, is now officially my favorite season. Summer? Meh...not so much anymore because that's when my allregies come. Well, allergies come in really extreme hot or cold, but who really gives a hoot about that right now? Haha. Anyways. I love scarves and I'm planning to wear one every single day during the autumn and winter. Gosh, I'm a dork.

OK! Back to writing my essay! Hopefully, my writer's block has been healed by now. See ya =^-^=

Pssh, I spent too much time writing this entry. I gotta get ready for work in like ten minutes. Oh well, at least I got the first two paragraphs down.
